Unless you use SSL, a user logs into Joomla sending his password in plain text across the network. A malicious user could take advantage of this vulnerability and can have access to the back-end.
This plugin is an alternative to SSL. It uses RSA to encrypt passwords or any other data you want in your component.
It is recommended to have the bcmath extension installed, otherwise DES algorithm is used.
Works with Signal Login, JTP Horizontal Login, PWC Login, Inline Login and vtj login modules.
For other Joomla extensions, like Alpha Registration, Community Builder, Core Design Login Module, Yoo Login, YJ Pop Login Module, Virtuemart you can find plugins at downloads/encryption-plugins.html.
If you liked it, please, write a review at the Joomla Extensions Directory.

Go to "Encryption Controls" and for all the front-end controls edit them and set the "Show Encrypted Signal" to "No".
nice plugin but how can i set that the encryptet message in the frontend is not displayd?
congrats for the absolute component you made.
Question: Is it my impression, have I done something wrong, or is the default joomla login module not encrypted ?
Please any help appreciated.
cheers
Quoting bend:
i presume that Show encrypted signal is not working?even it set to "yes"
i try login in back end/admin,but did not see any notification? maybe i've did it all wrong?
I don't understand what you mean.
password without autocomplete=off attribute
You must have bcmath php extensions enabled to make the encryption work. Please use the forum to get a faster answer.
so help me out ..what can id do this
You shouldn't be the only one because J1.7 is very new and the extension has never been tested there.what do you think? how long have we to wait for a full functional 1.7 version, cause the 1.6 has a XSS problem and there will be no new security patches. thanks for your effort.
You don't have to wait anymore.
