TOPIC: jDocuments integration

jDocuments integration 06 Nov 2015 20:07 #3214

Hi,

In jDownloads, I request that a user accepts a license before buying a resource. That's working fine. However, once a resource is paid through PPD, the license should be skipped when a user downloads the resource again. I think of doing a modification in jDownloads, but how could I find out in jDownloads if a resource has been paid or not?

Jean-Pierre

Hi.
Term "license" doesn´t mean the same in PPD and jDownloads.
I guess you should add a text to PPD license that says "by buying this license you agree to terms and conditions".

Hi,

I know the difference, I'm not using PPD licenses, but only resources.
I more general terms: HOW can I use information from PPD tables in jDownloads, f.ex.
- has a resource been payed for?
- price of a resource, so that it can be displayed in JDownloads lists and that the "Download" button could be changed to "Pay now"?

Right now there is nothing available for that.
PPD system plugin allows showing licenses prices and user´s licences anywhere in page by inserting PPD_RESOURCE_PRICES and PPD_USER_LICENSES, both between brackets {}.
But that's not what want.

Yes, I can add it to wish list.
So, what is what you would like? Please, describe every detail.
