Yes, you can fix it at file:
site/components/com_payperdownload/views/pay/tmpl/default.php
line:126 and 355
Change http to https.
I already fix it. I can send you the new component. Or wait for me to fix it.

I have tried to fix it in this file, in line 126 and 355 I changed http to https. But it didn't help. My browser still gives me the message:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://site/index.php/component/payperdownl… was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'www.paypal.com/de_DE/i/btn/btn_paynowCC_LG.gif'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Then I tried to open and save the PPD resource. But the result is still the same. So it would be kind if you could send me the new component.

Did you modify the file at your site or in the component package?
I will send the component to your email at this site.
